Choose a claim or theory from Weitz, Danto, or Walton and test it against a work of art. Consider Duchamp’s Fountain, Warhol’s Brillo Boxes, Borges’ “Pierre Menard,” or any other work of art. Describe what the claim or theory says about the work, and whether the result supports or challenges the claim or theory.
